White Chocolate competing with Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate gets all the news about its health benefits and white chocolate is rarely mentioned in the news. Confectioners are upping their game developing white chocolate with a smooth creamy taste and less sugar to compete with the increasing popularity of dark chocolate. White chocolate is made with cocoa butter, sugar and milk. White chocolate is high in calories and fat. The benefit of white is that it’s made with milk and contains calcium.
Dark chocolate is lower in calories, and sugar. Dark chocolate has reported health benefits for the cardiovascular system. Reports about the health benefits of even dark chocolate emphasize eating the sweet treat in moderation. Confectioners in the UK and Italy have on a path to increase the quality, taste and health benefits of white chocolate for awhile and the sales of white chocolate in the two countries has increased.
